Dropped Ipad On Floor Not Working

The ipad seems to be working because when i plug in it makes a chirp and when i take a screenshot by pressing the home and side button simultaneously it makes the camara shutter sound. When we picked it up the screen was completely white. It was powered up and running fine when it slipped out of the leather holster and dropped directly onto the floor from table height directly onto one edge. What seems to be working good is slapping it on the back where the apple logo is.
